Nextgen Pure Data Pty Ltd operates from Level 7/607 Bourke Street, Melbourne VIC 3000. The practice covers collection, cleansing, validation, structuring and visualisation of market data for investment, research, risk and operations teams.

Engagements typically fall into three patterns: raw feed output requiring repair, accumulated internal spreadsheets that no longer scale, or a request for consistent auditable numbers across asset classes. Output is a documented dataset. We do not sell software, provide investment opinions or hold client funds.

The practice is deliberately small. The contact on the first call designs the workflow and delivers the work. No account-management layer.

Output is a cleaned dataset, documented methodology and visualisation. Forecasts, ratings and buy/sell views are not produced.

ASX corporate actions, AUD settlement, AEST/AEDT time zones, RBA/ABS series handling, local data retention requirements.

Documentation

Each handover includes a data dictionary, change log and known-issues list.

Australian hosting

Client data is stored on Australian-hosted infrastructure and remains client property. Not reused.

Single contact

One contact from scoping through handover. No offshore helpdesk.

Scope

Requests crossing into licensed investment, tax or legal work are referred to the appropriate regulated professional.

Our History

Establishment

The practice was established in Melbourne in 2006, initially supporting boutique investment teams that had outgrown spreadsheet-based data handling. Scope expanded across equities, fixed income, macro indicators and, more recently, alternative and unstructured data.

The practice is not positioned as a big-data agency or digital-transformation consultancy. The offering is depth on market data collection, cleaning, storage and presentation.

Clients include investment managers, family offices, superannuation funds, research houses and B2B data teams. Retail investors are not serviced.
